My first blogwow I have a blog!. lol anyway. We're going to the SCVYS-AGM-thingy tonight to do a presentation to the SCVYS people. To...well...present what we've done over the past 12-18 months -ok so i haven't done a thing but I'm a newbie, so I'm excused :p- we're also going to present our ideas for the future. Tonight should be, interesting, to say the least. And I don't care what everyone else thinks. I say that the cowboy 'logo' is rubbish. And that they should let me design a new more professional one. It may not be as random, or as 'fun' and it may be more serious and boring. But stil, no one would be able to say we aren't professional and we wouldn't look like morons walking around with a cowboy on our t-shirts or a cowboy on our website.

Coalbrookdale ResiWell, just like the last residential Barry, Kirsty and I managed to get some sleep... thanx peeps, well for the 3 hours anyway! We now have 5 new members of the Great Giveaway Grant Panel and they are just as hard working and dedicated as the others (and as mad). Oh and Ollie, thanx for the tour! We are all looking forward to the new year and the opportunity to help other voluntary groups across Staffordshire, so, if you know of any who would want some funding for resources, training or membership then pass on their details to Barry so that they too can benefit from this fantastic project.

Time for the next residential...Following the last meeting (12/3/06), the group have decided to run another residential. This time the venue will be Coalbrookdale Youth Hostel in Telford, Shropshire (Tuesday 30th May 2006 until Thursday 1st June 2006). The other major aim of the residential is to invite new members to come along and take part in making the decisions on who gets funding in the next round.
